Terms of Service
Last updated October 13, 2026
These terms explain how teachers, schools, and students may use this math diagnostic app.
1. Using the service
This app helps teachers diagnose and remediate student math skills. By creating a teacher account or using the app in a class, you agree to these terms. Teachers and schools are responsible for how the app is used with their students.
2. Accounts
- Teachers must provide accurate information and keep their passcode and sign-in credentials private.
- Students join through a class set up by their teacher and do not create their own accounts.
- If you sign in with Google, we request only the permissions needed for the features you turn on: signing in, importing your Google Classroom roster, posting assignments and returning grades to Classroom, exporting grades to Google Sheets, saving student work to Google Drive, and adding due dates to your calendar. We only create or update items when you click to do so, and we never delete your existing Google files, courses, or events. You can disconnect at any time from your Google Account settings. See our Student Privacy Policy for how Google data is handled.
3. Acceptable use
- Use the app only for legitimate educational purposes.
- Do not upload content you do not have the right to share, or attempt to access another teacher’s classes or student data.
- Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or overload the service.
4. Student data
Student data belongs to the student and their school. We handle it as described in our Student Privacy Policy and only use it to provide the service. We never sell student data or use it for advertising.
5. AI-generated content
Feedback, grading suggestions, and worked examples may be generated with AI. They are meant to support, not replace, teacher judgment. Teachers should review scores before releasing them to students.
6. Availability and changes
- We work to keep the service available but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
- We may update features or these terms. We will post the updated date here and notify teachers of material changes.
7. Ending use
Teachers may stop using the app and delete their students’ data at any time. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
8. Disclaimer and liability
The service is provided “as is.” To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service.
